SPEAK ROBERT
Artists’ Pavilion at the Venice Biennale 2017
The Artists’ Pavilion commission consists of a window installation design developed from the theme of the wallpaper of the film Speak Robert featured at Tate Modern. The window advertises a teaching environment where
‘free tuition is available at 16:00’.
The topic is also displayed on the window and states:
‘What do Victorian Botanist Robert Fortune and film star Matt Damon have in common?’
The ‘tuition’ is articulated via 12 icons present in the space and narrated in a
non-specific order.
